About Daniel
Ciao! I'm Daniel, the ideal Italian tutor for you.
I’m a native Italian speaker with a unique multicultural background. Born and raised in Rome to a Romanian family, I grew up in a bilingual environment. I bring this perspective into every lesson, through a fresh and modern approach to learning a new language. Instead of only teaching grammar, I help you understand the subtle nuances of idioms and other real-world expressions that will make you sound like a local.
With my C2 Cambridge English certification, we will have no problems communicating. We will be able to easily discuss complex Italian concepts and explain them clearly and precisely in English so that our lessons will be smooth and efficient, with no language barriers.

Languages are truly alive, and they evolve over time based on the way people express themselves. This is what a textbook can't teach you, but a native speaker like me can.
My curriculum is flexible and can be adapted to students of all levels, from complete beginners, to intermediates and exam candidates (for CILS and CELI exams).
We will absolutely cover the grammar you need to build a strong foundation, but we will do it through context, culture, and active dialogue.
We will use real Italian media in our listening and reading practice, we will learn about current, modern expressions used daily by natives, and we will practice on everyday scenarios so you learn how to actually have a real conversation.
For the students interested in taking standardized exams (CILS and CELI), the lessons will focus more on grammar and useful language for the speaking and writing parts, while also taking mock tests regularly to track progress.
