About Cate
I have been a social worker and have an interesting and diverse employment history that could bring some unique skills to tutoring and learning support. I also manage a large team so believe I know how to give constructive and supportive feedback and criticism. Most of all I remember what it was like to be a teenager struggling with VCE, and how important some encouragement and key tips and hacks were for me at that critical time- some skills imparted to me then I still use today! I currently work as a Legal Officer at a large union for nurses and am on maternity leave and looking for opportunities! Would be best suited to high school kids who need some extra support in Legal Studies, English, Literature, History, Politics or Classics.
