About Maria

I have been tutoring since I was in A-levels, thus my experience with tutees is very strong, and because I have gone through what they are dealing with, it is very easy for me to handle them and work with them in a manner which is suitable for them. In order to give adequate time and the exact support needed by my tutees, through out the year at single given period of time, I do not accept more than 6 tutees. This allows me to have full focus on each student and provide them with exact amount of support that they need, as well as to mould my teaching style to fit the tutees requirement and desired style of teaching. All of my students achieved grade B and above on the old system and 6 and above on the new system in their English Literature, English Language, History, Maths and Science exams. One of my students, who was a family friends child, was achieving nothing above D's and Cs in his Maths, Science and English exams and with regular lessons and constant past paper practices with me, He was able to achieve B in both English and Maths and A in Science. Another of my students was in her final year of A-levels and was predicted nothing above C in English Literature and D in History and was informed that with her grades she would not be going to A good Law university. After the first two month tuition she started to improve and noticing this her teachers started to change her predictors and encouraged her to apply to good universities. We continued to have sessions till the end of her final exams and she has now achieved A in English lit and B in both History and psychology and is currently studying a Law at Reading University.

About the lesson

I am a Law graduate going on to do my Bar and Masters in September 2017. I give lessons to Primary school and Secondary school Students in English Language, English Literature, History, Maths and Science as well as give lessons to Undergraduate Law students.
