About Ben
I have recently completed both GCSE and A-level Spanish, gaining A* and A grades. As such, I'm very familiar with the structure and content of these courses (AQA and Edexcel exam boards in particular). I've chosen to carry this on to university level, and now study Spanish and French at the University of Leeds.
I'm considering a career in teaching in the future, and completed a 20-hour TEFL classroom course in August 2017. During my A-level studies, I also had the opportunity to observe Spanish and French lessons at a local primary school, and assist the students with their written work.
Outside of academics, I enjoy travelling, reading and cooking. I have also spent over one year working in a customer-facing retail role, during which I supervised and often led after-hours children's parties.

I offer targeted revision of past paper questions, as well as conversation practice structured around the GCSE and A-level topics. I also believe that a solid knowledge of both grammar and vocabulary is essential too, and so I like to use word searches, games and traditional drills to reinforce these skills.
