About Léa

I unfortunately can not boast of great experiences but nevertheless I gave lessons for a whole year to a student of second in all the linguistic subjects that she possessed (English, Spanish) and her average over the year has increased considerably (from 9.50 to 13.10 in English and from 6.20 to 11.50 in Spanish). I also taught Spanish to a fourth grade student for 3 months for a 1.8 point improvement on her average. Finally, I already taught the Spanish language to 2 adults who were delighted with our work together.

About the lesson

Hello everyone, I study Spanish and Portuguese language and literature. My class is for all people (adults as primary, middle or high school students) who wants to start and / or progress in this language. We will do a summary together of your needs and desires from the start so that the class are the most effective for you. Among other things, we will choose together the amount of courses per week you want or the content you prefer or, on the contrary, those that do not work on you.
According to the agreement that we will pass together, the class will be composed each time of a theoretical part (assimilation of the general rule + exceptions) and of playful exercises to work the theory (lyrics of songs, slide show, classical exercises, drawings , dances, dialogue, consecutive rehearsals, viewing and quizzing on a video or image). For me, the most important thing is that the notion worked is absolutely understood at the end of the course. For oral language classes, the pronunciation must be correct and, in writing, the spelling must be perfect, so I focus on these two non-negligible aspects during each course. I really like giving literary or cultural anecdotes that may interest or simply stir the curiosity of the person in learning. In addition, I am fully open to teleworking (video conference / Skype or other courses and e-mail courses).

Léa est très passionnée et engagée pour ses élèves. Sa rapide adaptation à vos besoins et son côté "bon vivant" vous surprendra! Mais c'est surtout une professeur très douce et patiente qui sait appuyer sur nos difficultés jusqu'à les faire disparaître (ou du moins reculer). J'apprécie plus particulièrement la créativité et l'originalité des exercices qu'elle propose mais aussi son contact facile avec les enfants et surtout avec les ados, car j'en suis un. Je recommande Léa à 100%!
