About Emily
I am an experienced LAMDA teacher and professional actor, having graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts with a First Class Honours Degree in Acting.
Since graduating I have worked professionally across stage and screen, with credits including BBC’s 'Doctors', ITV’s 'Endeavour', Hulu’s 'Harlots' and the feature film 'Greatest Days'. My theatre work includes Philip Ridley’s 'Karagula' at Soho Theatre and Secret Cinema’s 'Dr Strangelove', alongside a range of short films and other screen work.
Alongside my acting career, I have been teaching LAMDA for over 11 years. I was fortunate to train with some incredibly inspiring tutors at Mountview, who instilled in me a real passion for teaching and sharing the skills I had developed through my own training and professional career.
I believe the best teaching is individual, encouraging and challenging in equal measure. I tailor my lessons to each student, whether they are working towards a LAMDA exam, preparing for drama school, developing their acting skills or simply looking to become more confident in public speaking and performance.
I take great pride in helping students discover what they are capable of, and love seeing their confidence grow alongside their performance skills. My aim is to provide high-quality, personalised tuition that students can genuinely take with them beyond the classroom.
I look forward to hearing from you!

With 11 years of LAMDA teaching experience and a 100% pass rate, with students consistently achieving Merit and Distinction results, I have an in-depth understanding of the LAMDA examination process and what it takes to help each student succeed.
My lessons are tailored to the individual, whether a student is preparing for their first LAMDA exam, working towards Grade 8, preparing for a drama school audition, or simply looking to build confidence and develop their performance skills. I teach all LAMDA syllabuses from Entry Level to Grade 8.
Lessons combine practical acting and performance work with vocal technique, text and character analysis, audition technique and exam preparation. I aim to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where students can develop their skills, make confident acting choices and genuinely enjoy performing.
As well as LAMDA preparation, I offer drama school audition preparation, Shakespeare and classical text coaching, script analysis, general audition technique and self-tape/screen audition preparation.
My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent LAMDA results, but to develop confidence, creativity and a genuine love of performing that extends far beyond the exam.

Emily has taught both of my children since 2020. Not only have they achieved exam success, but many other areas of their curricular and extracurricular activities have noticed a huge boost in confidence and presentation!
Emily has taught my two children LAMDA for the last few years. She is such an inspiring tutor for my kids and they always look forward to her lessons each week. She’s really improved their confidence and overall skills when it comes to confidence speaking in public. I would recommend Emily to anyone looking for a LAMDA tutor!
I have been sending my daughter to Emily for her Lamda tuition for just over a year now. Her confidence has improved no end and she always comes away from her lessons buzzing with new ideas and very chatty!!
Emily is always on time for the lessons and my daughter loves her. She cares and is very passionate and enthusiastic about what she is delivering. I think they are studying monologues at the moment and I love hearing my daughter learning her lines in her room.
I would highly recommend anyone to EmilySee more recommendations
