About Erica
My name is Erica and I am currently studying law at the University of Bristol. When doing A level biology and GCSE triple science, I realised that it is often the way that the content is explained which makes it difficult for students, rather than the actual difficulty of the content.
My lessons are student led, allowing them to select topics that they find the most tricky. Half of the lesson will be focused on understanding, and the other half will be focused on exam questions which come straight from the exam board (if applicable).
I am eighteen years old and completed my A levels (A*A*A) in summer 2024. This means that I am very well acquainted with the new GCSEs and A levels, and I am aware of which online and analogue resources are most helpful to aid student learning.

I have tutored students in all three sciences and other subjects including languages at GCSE for over a year. My lessons last one-two hours and are focused on ensuring understanding the content and practicing exam technique, as this is especially key to biology.
I achieved grade 9s in all GCSE sciences and an A* in A level biology in 2024.
I teach Key stage 3 (years 7-9), GCSE, and A level.
