About Luke

My mission is to make learning maths fun and engaging, turning complex problems into exciting puzzles. With a solid foundation, including A-level Maths and applied statistics through a BA in Politics, I'm well-equipped to support students of all abilities. As a Learning Support Assistant, I've had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of young people, including SEN students, and have past experience mentoring students from primary school all the way up to year 11.

About the lesson

I've been there, wrestled with the same concepts, and know how to break them down into manageable steps. I'm a strong communicator with a creative knack for explaining even the trickiest topics in an engaging way. I offer both online services, and in-person sessions in Ealing and West London, either regularly or flexibly to accommodate your needs. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I'm adaptable and happy to adjust the length. Whether it's a quick refresher or in-depth assistance, I'm here to help.

Perfect! Luke has been a fantastic tutor for my two daughters (aged 10 and 11). He has worked to both explain topics clearly to them and challenge them, stretching their understanding and giving them heaps of confidence. The girls have enjoyed their lessons and look forward to them each week - which is a miracle given the girls’ reluctance to have maths tutoring beforehand.

Luke is a pleasure to work with, he is excellent at communicating prior to lessons to plan appropriately and gives clear updates on their progress after each session. I can’t recommend Luke highly enough.
