About Aman
I’m 25 years old and have been teaching KS2 Maths (Year 5 & 6) for the past 2–3 years. My background is in Human Resources, and I also worked as a copywriter which means I bring strong communication skills and creativity into my lessons :)
I make maths fun and engaging by using quizzes, prizes, interactive worksheets, and practical examples. My sessions are designed to be both productive and enjoyable, so children stay motivated while building real confidence in maths.
Goal is to build confidence and strengthen maths' foundation, help score good marks, have doubt sessions, help in homework, assignments and preparing for exams with worksheets and previous exam papers.

Each lesson of 60 minutes is structured into:
Quick warm-up & recap, step-by-step teaching with visuals (bar models, number lines), Guided practice together, Independent problem-solving,
Quick review
Bonus: Practice worksheets(makes concepts stick), Weekly Quizzes, Monthly 1:1 with parent(s).
Focus areas: Mental maths strategies, problem-solving, fluency, and reasoning.
Goal: Build confidence, cognitive skills and preparing students for Year 6 SATs and secondary school.
I recommend 2 lessons per week (8 per month) for steady progress.
