About Ashley
Hello! My name is Eunji, and I am a Korean student currently studying in the United Kingdom. Korean is my native language, and I have always been interested in languages and communication, which led me to live and study in different cultural environments, including South America. Through my experiences, I have come to appreciate how challenging but also rewarding language learning can be. I decided to teach Korean because I want to help others learn the language in a way that feels natural and practical, not overwhelming or overly complicated. I enjoy working with students and supporting them as they gradually build confidence and improve their skills.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, so I adapt each lesson based on the student’s goals, level, and learning style. I don’t follow a fixed structure for every class, and instead focus on what each student actually needs at that stage. I use a mix of conversation practice, vocabulary building, and cultural topics to make lessons more practical and engaging. For students who want to improve speaking, I include real-life expressions, commonly used phrases, and natural Korean used in everyday situations. Lessons are usually around 40 minutes, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s preference. I have experience teaching Korean to primary school students, which helped me develop patience and the ability to explain things clearly in a simple way. I have also taken the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), which supports my understanding of structured grammar and formal language use. My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, especially those who want to improve conversational Korean or learn more about Korean culture in a practical way.
