While living in Australia, I had the opportunity to teach Korean conversation for six months. I helped students effectively improve their speaking skills by repeatedly practicing commonly used sentence patterns, along with teaching basic vocabulary and grammar. However, I believe that acquiring a language through actual speaking practice is far more effective than focusing solely on theoretical aspects.
I can conduct classes in English, as I have basic English conversational skills. If you are comfortable with listening to Korean, we can conduct the lessons in Korean, which will be even more beneficial for your Korean language improvement. To master a language, it is crucial to understand the cultural context of the country. Therefore, I emphasize language learning based on an understanding of Korean society, culture, history, and politics.
The purpose and focus of learning Korean can vary for each student. Some might be interested in learning about Korean culture, while others may have business-related reasons. The areas of improvement might be speaking, writing, or other aspects of the language.
I believe that clearly identifying the purpose and focus of learning is key to enhancing learning efficiency. Through a trial lesson, we can discuss these aspects together, and afterward, I can tailor my teaching methods and educational content to meet your specific learning goals.
