About Zoe
Zoe Stark is a Junior at NYU majoring in Film and Television. She is a passionate and creative thinker and problem solver. Outside of her passions in filmmaking, she also loves to write as a form of expression.
Zoe graduated from a high school in New Jersey with all A's in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. She is a quick thinker and problem solver and continues to use her skills in Algebra in the present. She also has experience tutoring Algebra to her classmates, friends, and other students. In her tutoring experience, her students have passed their classes and have been successful with the hard work learned in their sessions.

My ultimate goal is to help students understand, not just memorize. During each lesson, the student and I will go through each step carefully together side by side so that they are able to understand. I am also a "talking it out" tutor. I usually like to talk out the math problem with my students. This method allows me to understand what the student is struggling with. It also helps them understand the problem better. Before each lesson I also study the material and do research on equations to bring as well as make up my own.
As a college student and recent high school graduate, I understand what it's like to be a student struggling with work at this age. I also know how teachers are like today and the way they structure their classes. I am here to tutor, help the student understand, and connect to their levels of learning!
