About Stella
I have several years of tutoring experience across a range of age groups. In high school, I began tutoring middle and high school students in math, where I developed strong skills in breaking down complex concepts and adapting explanations to different learning styles.
For the past two years, I have also worked with elementary school students in all core subjects. Through this experience, I have learned how to create structured, engaging lessons while maintaining patience, consistency, and clear communication with both students and parents.
I approach tutoring with reliability and professionalism. I come prepared to each session with a clear plan, set measurable goals with students, and track progress over time. I prioritize punctuality, respectful communication, and creating a focused learning environment.
My experience across grade levels has strengthened my ability to adjust my teaching style to meet each student where they are academically and help them build both competence and confidence.

My lessons are personalized, encouraging, and designed to help students strengthen their skills and build their confidence. Students thrive when they feel comfortable enough to ask questions, so it is my goal to provide a welcoming, calm environment.
I tailor each session to the individual’s goals, whether that is improving grammar and spelling, preparing for tests, or developing reading comprehension. Together, we will identify areas for growth and create a clear plan to reach your goals.
My teaching style is structured but flexible. I provide clear explanations, practical examples, and guided practice, while also making space for discussion and critical thinking. I focus not only on correct answers, but on helping students understand why something works, so they can apply the skill independently.
Most importantly, I aim to build confidence. English can feel overwhelming, but with consistent support and intentional practice, real progress happens. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more capable than when they started.
