I’ve learned from the Greatest of All Time
You don’t need a drum set to start.
You need sticks and somewhere to hit. That’s it.
Most people overcomplicate this. The real work is in time, touch, and intent—not gear.
I don’t teach drums like it’s isolated from everything else. Music doesn’t work like that. If we’re working on something, I’ll play along—bass, keys, whatever’s needed—so you actually feel what it’s like to play in a real musical situation, not just repeat exercises.
Every session is built around what you’re trying to do.
Not a template, not a curriculum for the sake of it—just direct work.
We’ll get into:
* how to actually hear what you’re playing
* how to break things down so they stick
* how to practice without wasting time
* how great drummers think, not just what they play
Beginner or advanced doesn’t matter.
If you’re brand new, you’ll play something real immediately. If you’re experienced, we’ll go straight to the gaps that are holding you back.
I spent years trying to figure out why certain players sound like themselves within seconds—and why most people don’t. That led me deep into studying, asking better questions, and building my own way of practicing and understanding music.
That’s what I’m passing on.
