JJ is super supportive he takes great pride in his work and craft but also has love for his students and great character in the room when conducting his classes. Throughout the years I have worked alongside Joseph, I have learned so much about myself as a facilitator as well as an individual. I met Joseph at university and worked closely with him in our third year project as an Stage Manager whilst he directed an immersive show. For this process, he orchestrated invclusive rehearsals, created persoanl targets for each other, and allowed room for progression dependent on each what the actor required. He curates a homely space for all his participants; ensuring that all of their basic needs are met and understands the vitality of accessibility. He's an excellent active listener and can cater is workshops to his participants effectively. Having Joseph as a tutor to build confidence is an incredible opportunity as he has helped friends as well as students move forward.

I’ve worked with JJ on several large and medium scale projects and he brings such a vibrant and infectious energy into every room he enters! As a currently working trained performer he also brings both new and traditional knowledge into spaces that is exciting and grounded in theory.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Joseph. He is an absolutely fantastic teacher. I only had a couple of brief sessions with him (as I requested!) and he taught me more than I've ever learnt about approaching monologues and acting. I auditioned for NYT last year without any guidance and was unsuccessful - with Joseph's brief sessions this year, I was accepted onto a course with NYT!!!
