Hi, I'm Joel! 3rd year geography student at Durham University, who achieved A*, A*, A in their A-levels. I teach both physical and human geography at A-level (OCR) and GCSE (Ed Excel) standards.

About Joel
I am a student at Durham University who has recently completed their 2nd year and will be moving on to complete a placement year.
I represent the university in rowing and I am a keen drummer in a Band called Painted Red. I am part of many university societies so I have great time management which will allow me to prepare you sufficiently for your exams.
Most importantly, I have gone through the examination processes myself and know how important it is to feel confident in what you are writing!

My geography lessons will be structured towards either the physical or human sides.
There will be a focus on developing a deep understanding of case studies and applying key concepts in written answers.
I will also zoom in on the importance of answering the question correctly in a structured manner to access the highest marks.
Lessons will be highly interactive, running through important content, doing quizzes and answering practice questions together.
Lessons will be an hour long to maximize concentration and will take place at the weekend.
I have tutored friends and family successfully for a long period of time and now want to branch out to help others excel.
I am a high achieving university student from Durham University with a passion for helping others succeed. I studied my A-levels at Repton school giving me a great educational background in Geography.
My lessons are for anyone studying their geography GCSE's (Ed Excel) or A-levels (OCR).
