Elisa has been teaching me Italian at beginner level and I strongly believe that no-one could have done a better job. Elisa manages to achieve the almost impossible - making sure the lessons are informative, fun and effective whilst still providing the rigour to ensure that you improve after every lesson. I came under Elisa's wing when I was required to learn modern and medieval Italian virtually from scratch for an examination at Cambridge University at undergraduate level. Elisa's approach to lessons and tutorials is systematic which makes learning succinct and efficient. Elisa adopts a very flexible approach listening carefully to the students' requirements and tailoring the course to suit their needs. As a result I am now able to read, write and speak Italian with a good degree of ability.

The course is well structured, but is also flexible so that our requests and preferences can be accommodated. It is informal, varied and uses techniques to make learning a language interesting and enjoyable.
