About Chiara
I am a Cardiff Uni graduate and got my doctoral degree in Cardiff. Prior to that I studied in Pisa, Italy. I am originally from Sicily.
I have taught at a prestigious Welsh independent school as well as worked as a tutor at Cardiff Uni. I have also worked as a private tutor and Italian lecturer for adult learners for the past five years.
Italian is my first language, but I am also fluent in French and speak English at a native speaker level.

I have over 7 years experience teaching Italian at all levels both privately and in a classroom setting.
After an assessment of your level and needs as a learner, we will tailor our lessons to you including the elements you need most - whether you're preparing for GCSE or A Levels, studying at University or postgraduate level, learning Italian for fun, wishing to travel or relocate to Italy, and so on.
I am experienced with learners of all ages and backgrounds and happy to adapt and include what you're most interested in, from conversation to readings or sections about Italian culture.
A typical lesson is 1 hour but I am happy to negotiate longer lessons too!
