About Achilles

Ciao, I'm interested in art, history and culture, I like to understand nations from an anthropological point of view, I believe that languages are precisely the place where each culture preserves its own aesthetic and ethical elements, its philosophy of life and the character of the nation.
A language possesses all the elements of art: rhythm, melody, accents, composition, colours, emotions and so on. That's why it's the best key to a deep understanding of another culture. That's why I believe that combining language learning with elements of culture, music, film studies, history and culinary anthropology is the most effective way for my students to learn not only the Italian language but also, this time, Italian culture.

Ciao, My name is Achillus and I was born in Rome. I am new here on superprof English.

I studied at La Sapienza, Rome's leading university.
I offer conversation and language courses at all levels to help you discover the Italian language and culture. A relaxed, stress-free atmosphere.

I OFFER STUDENTS (AGED 19-26) A €5 DISCOUNT FOR EACH LESSON!
Conversations at 20€ for 45 minutes, Prepared lessons in person with grammar and homework 25€ per 60 minutes.
Conversations at 25€ for 60 minutes online or at my home, ideal for those who already understand and speak Italian (minimum level B1), but who want to improve their pronunciation and vocabulary.
Prepared lessons in person with grammar and homework 30€ per 60 minutes, this method is good for beginners or for those who want a more sophisticated language.
