About FEDERICA

I am an italian chemistry student with a double passion:
1. Chemistry (indeed)
2. Languages, languages, languages!
More in particular, I feel very confident in italian (my native language) and English (C1 level). I have a discrete level of danish considering the fact that I lived in Denmark for a period of my life.

Teaching / tutoring allows me to interact with people and have some serious quality time learning and trying to deeply understand the italian language that, as a native speaker and italian citizen, I truly appreciate.
I have been on the other side of the river, trying to learn Danish which at first seemed impossible and uselessly difficult. Nonetheless, I can assure that the first time I was able to have a proper conversation with a stranger who was not expecting my level of danish to be that high, I feel extremely amazed.
Amazement is the feeling one has when succeeding in communicating with other people in their native language, the one that goes directly to their mind and heart. Moreover, understanding the language will be the tool to understand the history and culture of the country.
These are the main reasons that have brought me to follow students across the world.

About the lesson

Hello everyone! Hi to all!
I am Federica, an Italian girl who has been tutoring students (of any age, even older than me!) In Italian for over 2 years. My passion for languages and overall communication has brought me to start this journey while I was living in the beautiful city of Viborg, Jylland.
Indeed, I spent one year of my life in Denmark and even if I'm now back in my hometown in Italy, my heart still belongs to the sweet medieval city.
I truly enjoy teaching / tutoring when it comes to languages and since I received my education in Italy I developed such a confidence that has allowed me to teach my native language to those who are interested and fascinated by the "Bel paese".
I personally like frontal lessons (it's the whole purpose of having a private tutor) and the aims of my lessons consist of:
1. transmitting the passion and the beauty for the italian language
2. making sure the student on the other side of the screen is feeling comfortable.
3. building deep knowledge and comprehension of the subject being taught
When it comes to the teaching material, I am fully furnished with textbooks and various sources (audio tracks, dialogue, exercises ...), thus there is no need the student has to worry about that. However, curiosity and will to learn are more than welcome!
