About Unathi
I am Unathi Kambonani, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the reasons why I am passionate about teaching and why I have chosen this incredible profession. Teaching is not just a job for me; it is a calling that I wholeheartedly embrace. Here are a few reasons why I am so interested in teaching:
1. Impacting Lives: As a teacher, I have the privilege of making a positive difference in your lives. I believe education is a powerful tool that has the ability to shape and transform individuals. Witnessing your growth and seeing the sparkle in your eyes when you grasp a concept or achieve a personal milestone is immensely rewarding.
2. Building Relationships: One of the most fulfilling aspects of teaching is building meaningful relationships with my students. I believe that genuine connections are at the heart of effective teaching. Getting to know each one of you, your unique personalities, talents, and aspirations, allows me to tailor my teaching approach to better meet your specific needs. I am here to support you, listen to you, and cheer you on as you navigate your educational journey.
3. Lifelong Learning: Teaching is a never-ending learning process. Every day, I have the chance to expand my own knowledge and deepen my understanding of various subjects. Regular physical activity can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and bones, improve mental wellbeing, manage weight, and reduce the risk of various physical and mental illnesses.
Here are some key points about fitness and exercise:
1. Types of exercise: Exercise can be categorized into four main types: endurance (cardiovascular) exercise, strength training, balance exercises, and flexibility exercises. It is recommended to incorporate a mix of these exercises into your fitness routine.
2. Endurance exercise: Also known as aerobic exercise, this type of exercise helps increase heart rate and breathing rate, thus improving cardiovascular health. Examples include walking, running, cycling, swimming, dancing, and rowing.
3. Strength training: This form of exercise involves using resistance to build muscle strength and endurance. It can include weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, resistance band workouts, or using weight machines.
4. Balance exercises: These exercises improve stability and help prevent falls, especially in older adults. Yoga, tai chi, and Pilates are popular activities that focus on balance and flexibility.
