Miss Cook optimises professionalism in everything she turns her hand to, she is a diligent and excellent instructor, who is able to connect to her audience on a level that I have never seen in anyone else. Pastorally, it is very clear that she has her pupils best interests at heart and can routinely be seen giving encouragement and additional support to children who might need an additional boost in academic or personal development areas.
Creativity and originality is a forte for her, using technology, songs and clever word association to assist with learning. My children have all loved this approach and I have found that her interaction and novelty in teaching style has really brought the best out of them, it is refreshing rather than a traditional by rote method.

Kate is the most wonderful teacher. She understands children incredibly well and explains things in a way that they can relate to, whether it be songs, games, diagrams or a whole host of other creative methods. Her subject knowledge is exceptional and she can vary her teaching methods very effectively for different ages and subjects. She has endless patience and humour and is great fun. Kate has taught both of my children who have made really good progress in a subject they find difficult under her wise and caring eye. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My daughter was taught by Kate between 10yrs old to 12 yrs old. Kate is a super teacher, pitching information at an age appropriate level, always calm, kind and often with lots of laughs.

Miss Cook has proved to be an exceptional teacher, endowing children with a genuine love for the subject and ensuring that every child achieves their full potential in Science. She has achieved this through her untiring energy and enthusiasm for the subject which translates happily into lessons which are fun, engaging and memorable. Miss Cook is extremely creative and effective with how she presents concepts and topics; she is known for her inventive use of fun rhymes, songs, actions, pictorial aids, and more, which to this day our eldest daughter remembers every single one; her lessons are never boring! Miss Cook produces excellent revision aids for her students which are fun, interactive and brilliant for aiding learning and covering topics in the syllabus. My husband and I, and more importantly our daughters, couldn’t recommend Miss Cook highly enough.
