About Chloe
Growing up, I was an incredibly shy kid who would rather bury her head in books than communicate with other people. I didn't feel confident in myself because I didn't feel like I had the words to express how I was feeling. I know how it's like for language to feel like a barrier rather than a tool, and I want to help you sharpen your English skills so that you can feel much more secure, steady and confident in your abilities!

My lessons range can last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on your needs and preferences, and are completely guided by what you want to work on, and the pace you want to learn at.
My classes are available for all levels, ages and backgrounds. I have extensive experience working with young children, being the Co-Founder of an English education charity working with children aged 6-12, and a 4-year debating and speaking coach for teens aged 13-17.
Upon request, I am able to offer detailed monthly (frequency can be negotiated) progress reports to help parents better understand their children's abilities and needs.
I obtained a 8.5/9 overall in the IELTS exam, with full marks in Reading, Listening and Speaking. I also obtained a 116/120 overall in the TOEFL exam, with full marks in Reading and Listening. I have extensive coaching experience as well, having trained public speakers and debaters from high schools across the UK and in Hong Kong.
I am excited to embark on a learning journey with you, regardless of your background, age or current ability!
Note: In addition to English, I am also a native speaker of Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, having been born and raised in Hong Kong for about 18 years. Feel free to contact me for lessons in these languages as well!
