About Luke
I have been giving lessons since 2010, I have taught students of all ages ranging from absolute beginners to professional level musicians. I have also guided students through ABRSM exams where they have achieved distinctions and merits. My teaching is primarily informed from my own performing experience as I have performed in concert halls across Europe I am keenly aware of what is required for achieving one's goals in both technique and musicianship.

My teaching method is built on the desires and goals of the students. If a student wishes to take lessons slowly and develop their own understanding that is fine, but I am also capable of going into great detail and exploring different ways of understanding music and translating that approach to the piano. I believe in developing a strong technique, building musicianship and understanding the physical relationship of the body to the piano so as not to develop any bad habits.
