About Georgia

I currently work for an accountancy organisation as a business analyst. I only recently changed jobs, and previously worked in London for an international charity that focused on the mentorship and upskilling of women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries. One day I hope to be able to give my time freely to supporting someone along their development journey, but do not currently have the means to do so for free right now.

Instead, for a small cost, I would like to use my free time teaching eager and willing students, relaying as much information to them as I possibly can. I love meeting with people from different cultures - working to suit each student's different motivations and circumstances - and sincerely hope I can contribute to their development journey.

About the lesson

I am an International Business Graduate and for the last 3 years have worked as a Senior Partnerships Officer at a London based charity. In my free time, I am eager to start teaching Beginner/Intermediate English.

I have 3 month's experience teaching a class of 40+ children aged 8-12 from a volunteer programme in Uganda and found the experience to be very rewarding. I developed my ability to create lesson plans that translate across significant language barriers and would look forward to a similar challenge here as I hope to work with non-native English speakers.

I am only looking to take on a couple of students to make sure I can provide the best support I can to a select few. I am also eager to learn more about why you are looking for extra support learning English and will try to accommodate my lessons to suit your needs, listening and adapting our working approach to make sure you get the most from our lessons.

Qualifications:
- English Literature, English Language and History A Levels
- 1st class honours and awarded 'Best Dissertation' for International Business Studies degree
