About Ena

Being a mother of 3 and a teacher/tutor for nearly 20years, I understand the need for kids to do well in Mathematics. My focus is on them getting through school with good marks and a good understanding of math.
I have been doing extra lessons for most of my teaching career and love the small group sessions.
I am al loving, heartfelt person with children and math as my passion.
Throughout my studies I enjoyed the processes of learning.
My studies and experience include a B.Ed with Math as a main subject. After university I started teaching straight away. I taught at 1 primary school but realized my passion is with Highschool students and taught at 2 school after that. Now doing full time tutoring and loving the small group interaction I would love to continue my passion with Superprof and offering my services to more students.

About the lesson

I believe that all children can learn math and have an understanding of the subject. Teaching students over the years have taught me many methods of explaining and ways to help kids to understand the work.
I am fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Students can expect a passionate tutor with a love of helping. During the lesson kids will work through exercises where I will explain the steps that they don't understand. We will focus on the stuff they struggle with to make sure that they have a good understanding of that section before we move on to the next.
The Highschool Math has been my favorite section of work and I love it to see when students understand the work and want to move to the next section of work.
