About Monica
My name is Monica Malcolm and I’m from New York. I was born in Switzerland to Italian parents from Calabria, Italy. I am a native speaker of the Italian language and a certified teacher of Italian and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). My passion for keeping the Italian language alive has led me to providing this service to students from beginner to the more advanced learner and to offer students a flexible, supportive space to grow their skills with confidence. Every lesson is designed with your goals in mind — because language learning isn’t one size fits all, and your journey deserves a personalized approach.

Throughout, I adjust pacing, provide targeted feedback, and build a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and steadily improving their Italian.
