About Jack

I have just Graduated from the University of Oxford and am now teaching history in schools. I have tutored students for three years, achieving consistent high results in exams. I look forward to meeting you for a quick chat about what you would like to get out of the lesson!

About the lesson

I take an individualised approach tailored for each student, but ensure that lessons are collaborative rather than simply being an hour of lectures. If a student wishes, I have found that it works well if I am sent a practice question before a lesson. I will then mark the question and discuss it with the student in the first half of the lesson to allow students to get in-depth feedback on their work. Lessons are normally one hour but can be extended to 90 minutes or 2 hours if desired. I am most familiar with the Edexcel specification but can also teach the AQA and the OCR specifications due to their similarities.
