About Nova
With over 2 years of tutoring and an MSc in Radiochemistry, I bring passion and clarity to Chemistry education. My focus is food chemistry and nutritional science, where learners see how science explains what we eat and how our bodies respond. I teach macromolecules such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, along with additives and metabolic pathways. Lessons are interactive, practical, and closely connected to real-world experiences. I use dietary analysis exercises to help students see the role of nutrition. Food product development projects also give them a chance to apply Chemistry in creative ways. Cooking examples—like caramelisation, emulsification, or enzymatic reactions—make the subject engaging and memorable. I break down each concept into manageable parts so nothing feels overwhelming. My goal is to make Chemistry useful, enjoyable, and inspiring. Together, we can discover the science behind healthy choices and delicious meals.

Chemistry, especially organic chemistry, requires a methodical way of learning. My teaching style is systematic and step-based, so students never feel lost. I focus on topics such as functional groups, organic nomenclature, isomerism, and mechanisms of reactions. By simplifying the content, I ensure students understand the logic behind the structures. Lessons include plenty of practice problems and examples to reinforce key ideas. I also use diagrams, structural drawings, and clear breakdowns of mechanisms. These visual aids help students retain what they’ve learned. Feedback is consistent, so learners can measure their progress and know exactly where to focus next. I also guide those preparing for careers in environmental science or marine biology, connecting chemistry concepts to real-world applications. Learning with me means mastering not only exams but also developing analytical skills. Students finish with confidence in organic synthesis and a deeper appreciation of chemistry.
