About Taeya
Hi I am Taeya a student currently studying at university doing a BA in Information Design. A subject I have taken at school is art and I have carried this subject through my entire school career since grade 6. I was a top student in my grade for the art subject, at the end of my grade 12 year I was awarded a gold certificate in practical work. During the course of my 11 and 12 year I entered the National Eisteddfod Young Artists Award Competition and was a finalist in both and then in matric I won the competition for the gr 8-open. In 2019 I was also able to enter the Artimes Magazine Newblood Competition and was successfully published twice. Please note that I may know and can teach the basics of painting, such as acrylic, oil, gouache and water colour however my strongest skill is teaching drawing.

I base my classes on a first lesson approach to see where the student needs to improve and in what skill set. In the first lesson I will cover some basic drawing techniques to see as to what level the student is at. From then on we I will further develop their style, drawing technique and confidence to help the student further develop their skills.
