About Chris
I’m a Design Engineering graduate from Imperial College London, originally from Greece, and I have been living in London for 5 years. My decision to pursue engineering was strongly influenced by a maths tutor I had in high school, who believed in me and encouraged me when I didn’t always believe in myself. That experience showed me how much of a difference the right tutor can make.
Today, I try to bring that same mindset into my own teaching by believing in my students, supporting them through challenges, and helping them build confidence alongside strong understanding. Outside of tutoring, I’m currently working on a startup and enjoy skiing, which also became the focus of my Master’s project. I enjoy combining analytical thinking with real-world problem-solving, both in my studies and in my teaching.

My lessons are structured, personalised, and focused on building real understanding rather than memorisation. I start by identifying gaps in knowledge and adapting explanations to the student’s level and goals.
I place strong emphasis on problem-solving, exam technique, and applying concepts confidently under timed conditions. Whether working with GCSE, A Level, or university students, my aim is to create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and progress is measurable over time.
Recommendations
Recommendations are written by the tutor's friends, family, and acquaintances.
Chris's guidance and firm support gave me the confidence to achieve that A* in my Maths A-levels. Now in an integrated MEng course, Chris helps me grasp those fringe mathematical concepts that would otherwise trip me up. He has my wholehearted recommendation, and I'm sure he can help you too!
