About Rupali
Hi, I'm Rupali, an online Math tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience — including 5 years of online teaching — and a PhD in Physics. I teach students in Grades 6 to 10 across [boards — e.g., CBSE, ICSE, State Board, IGCSE]. As a physicist, I'm at my best showing students the logic and the real-world why behind every concept.
I believe math isn't something to memorize — it's a life skill, the language of logic and reasoning. Instead of making students mug up formulas, I help them understand the "why" behind every "what," so their math stays with them for life — not just till the next test.
Most students don't dislike math; they dislike feeling lost in math. My job is to remove that fear and replace it with the quiet confidence of "I can figure this out."

I cue, I don't just tell. Instead of handing over the answer, I ask the right questions and guide the student to discover the next step themselves. That's how genuine reasoning — and real confidence — is built.
The "why" comes before the "what." We never memorize a formula blindly. First we understand where it comes from and why it works — then it's impossible to forget.
Visual → Pictorial → Abstract. New ideas start with something a student can see (objects, models, diagrams), move to simple pictures, and only then to symbols and equations. This gradual path makes even "hard" topics feel natural.
A fear-free classroom. Mistakes are welcome here — they're how we learn. I keep the pressure low and the encouragement high, so confidence has room to grow.
Math that connects to real life. Fractions become slices of a pizza, percentages become shopping discounts, ratios become recipes — so students see math as a tool they actually use, not an abstract chore.
