About Mahima
Hi, I am Mahima. I completed my M.Sc. in Biotechnology from IIT Bombay in 2024 (CGPA 8.56), after ranking 27th nationally in the IIT JAM Biotechnology entrance in 2022. I also hold a B.Sc. in Zoology (Honors) from Banaras Hindu University.
My love for biology began at school and deepened through six years of continuous study: undergraduate at BHU, postgraduate at IIT Bombay, and research in cell and molecular biology since then. I have spent many hours in the lab working with proteins, cells, and microscopes, and I bring that hands-on understanding into how I teach.
I teach biology for Class 9-10 science, Class 11-12 boards, and NEET aspirants (droppers and repeaters). My focus is on the highest-weightage NEET units: Cell Biology, Human Physiology, Genetics and Evolution, Reproduction, and Biotechnology. I teach chapter-wise from NCERT, work through previous year's questions in detail, and give regular tests so students can track their own progress.
I take students only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and prefer to build real depth with a small number of students rather than take on too many. Every student gets a free 45-minute trial class so we can see if it is a fit before committing.
