About Anaïs

I am a passionate STEM student entering my final year of A Levels, studying Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, with predicted grades of A*, A*, and A. I also have a strong interest in the arts and music, and I play the piano. I enjoy sports and am a member of my school’s girls’ football team, having reached the semi-finals last year. In addition, I enjoy running and going to the gym. I also speak French and Portuguese fluently and understand a lot of Spanish, which it helpful for students where english isn't their first language but are learning english curriculums.

About the lesson

I am a Year 12 student who achieved an A* in IGCSE Biology and am currently predicted an A/A* at A Level. I teach IGCSE/GCSE and KS3 Biology, helping students fully understand topics rather than just memorise them.

I want to teach because I know from experience that Biology can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I find it rewarding to help students make sense of difficult topics. Since I recently completed my IGCSEs, achieving a A*, I also understand what examiners are looking for and how to approach exam questions effectively.

My aim is to help students feel more confident and improve their grades in a supportive and structured way.

My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are tailored to each student’s needs, so lesson length is flexible.

My lessons are ideal for students who are struggling with Biology or aiming for top grades as I went through that exact process not long ago and know how to get there.
