About Julie

I am a passionate Geographer and my aim is to encourage you to have that passion too. If you love your subject you will be more determined to succeed. I aim to make our lessons varied, full of interesting content focused on your particular specification but at the same time fun. We will use real examination questions to help you hone your style and to hit the highest levels of the marking criteria. I have a particular love of Physical Geography if that is your area of concern but at the same time we can focus on Human Geography. I am also a keen traveller and can bring up-to-date real world experience to inform your case studies.

About the lesson

Hello! I am a fully qualified Geography teacher with over 25 years' experience working in schools and preparing students for GCSE and A' level examinations both as a classroom teacher and Head of Department. I am also an experienced examiner which means you can gain insight into what those exam questions actually mean. My lessons have a friendly and approachable style which are focused on your specific needs and in this way I hope to instil in you a passion for Geography as well as success in your exams! I can also guide you through your coursework giving you top tips for creating a great project! A typical lesson will last one hour but I can be flexible depending on your needs. Looking forward to hearing from you!

She was my favourite teacher all throughout as she not only covered the course in exceptional detail, but made lessons fun and engaging which helped cement the course content in my head.
