About H
Hello, I’m Dr. Hooshang, a dedicated and highly experienced online tutor with a passion for teaching mathematics. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep expertise in guiding students through a wide range of math courses, covering all major examination boards such as IB, Edexcel, AQA, OCR, and MEI. My areas of proficiency include:
• KS3 Math
• GCSE and Further GCSE Math
• IGCSE and Further IGCSE Math
• A-Level Math
• A-Level Further Math
• University Level Math, including advanced engineering mathematics
My motivation for teaching stems from my love for math and a genuine desire to help students unlock their potential. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance, and I take pride in making challenging concepts clear and approachable. Over time, I’ve seen remarkable results: the majority of my former GCSE students have achieved Grade 8 or 9, while my A-Level students have consistently earned A or A* grades.
By drawing on my extensive experience, I am confident that my teaching approach can continue to inspire students and foster academic success in the years to come. My goal is not just to help students achieve high grades but also to instill in them a lasting appreciation for mathematics that will serve them well in their future endeavours.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows for thorough coverage of material, interactive practice, and time to address any questions or difficulties the student may encounter. Depending on the student’s needs and goals, longer sessions can be arranged to provide more in-depth support, especially before exams.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold [PhD in Electronics Engineering, and have over15 years of experience tutoring students at various levels. Over the years, I’ve successfully worked with a wide range of students, from elementary school to university level, helping them improve their grades and develop a lasting appreciation for math.

My lessons are suitable for students of all ages and levels. Whether you're a parent seeking extra support for your child in secondary school, or a college student looking for help with advanced mathematical concepts, I can tailor my teaching to meet your specific needs. My experience spans from foundational mathematics to advanced topics such as calculus, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
