About Jay
I am a firm believer that learning should be fun. Why would anyone want to continue taking lessons if classes were boring and disengaging? I love to play games and write my own short stories. I also like to incorporate rewards into teaching as it leads to students wanting to further their efforts outside of my tutelage. I watch a lot of cartoons because I love animation! I also collect manga! I think I’m pretty cool!

My lessons incorporate interactive storytelling as well as functional learning. I can adapt to any learning style and I ensure to promote helpful study habits for students! As a tutor, I encourage students to further their learning outside of lessons. I am in the top 10% of my class and as such I’ve been privy to many useful skills that set me apart from other tutors. I’m outgoing, funny, and above all dedicated to learning and helping others further their education.

She’s my tutor at school. I’m actually so bad at writing essays, but with her help, I moved from academic English to advanced in only a few months. And with our grading system, that’s kinda hard.
I work alongside Jay in NHS and she’s always very helpful to the kids at our school. I’m not so great as a tutor so she always has my back and helps me out!
