About Marla
In my 27 years of teaching both in the classroom and at home, I take mastery of the subject seriously. I have a warm, but fairly no-nonsense personality as a teacher. My students have gone on to mostly have computer-related careers.

Because I have taught many students with different strengths and learning styles, and also because I come from a family of teachers, I am able to explain concepts in many different ways to get the matter taught well.
In mathematics, a typical lesson would include going over missed problems for mastery before moving on to the next lesson. I am best at teaching grades 3-8.
