About Evelyn
Your first session starts with a simple assessment of your current reading comprehension and speaking goals. I must admit that I am quite particular about pronunciation because it defines how you are received in a Spanish-speaking country. We examine the distinct variants between Latin American and Castilian Spanish to ensure you know which is appropriate for your travel or business needs.
Throughout our 13 years of cumulative experience, I have developed a way to make grammar exercises feel like a logical puzzle rather than a chore. We use specific texts and conversation prompts to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world application. You will find that these sessions move at a pace that respects your busy schedule.

Teaching Spanish feels necessary to me because I have spent 10 years performing in Australia and realized that Latin music loses its soul without the original language. My background includes a Diploma of Music, which aids in my ear for linguistic cadence and rhythm.
