About Vera

I’m originally from Spain, and I moved to Canada to be closer to the mountains and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer! I love spending time in nature, hiking, traveling, reading, and discovering new places and cultures.

I’ve been working as a secondary school teacher in Spain for the past four years, teaching Language and Literature. I also teach Spanish as a second language, which I really enjoy because it allows me to share my language and culture with people from different backgrounds.

As a teacher, I’m passionate about helping students learn in a way that feels natural, engaging, and tailored to their needs. I believe learning a language is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but also about connecting with people, discovering new cultures, and gaining the confidence to communicate in real-life situations.

About the lesson

Thanks to my teaching experience, I’ve learned to adapt my lessons to each student’s individual goals, needs, and interests. Whether you’re learning Spanish from scratch, looking to improve your skills for work, preparing for a trip with your family, or seeking tailored Spanish lessons for your business, I design my classes to suit your specific objectives.

I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it in real-life situations. That’s why, alongside structured lessons, I also offer conversation sessions with native Spanish speakers, helping you build fluency, gain confidence, and communicate more naturally in Spanish.
