About Zachary

I am a qualified secondary school teacher and graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a 2:1 in my Professional Master of Education (PME). I have several years of experience teaching Spanish at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate level.
I am passionate about languages and particularly enjoy helping students build their confidence in Spanish. As a practicing secondary school teacher, I have a strong understanding of the curriculum, State Examinations and the areas students commonly find challenging.
I am an approachable, patient and encouraging teacher and aim to make Spanish feel manageable and enjoyable. I have experience working with students of all abilities, whether they need extra support or are aiming to achieve a top grade. My goal is for students to become more confident, independent and comfortable using Spanish.

About the lesson

As a practicing teacher, I have a strong understanding of the Spanish curriculum and the demands of the State Examinations. My grinds are tailored to each individual student, whether they are looking to build confidence in Spanish, improve their grades, prepare for exams or strengthen a particular area of the language.
Lessons can focus on areas such as speaking and oral preparation, written Spanish, grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension, and exam technique. I aim to explain things in a clear and approachable way and create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Each lesson is adapted to the student's level and goals, with a strong focus on practical strategies that they can use in school and in their exams.
Grinds are available online through Microsoft Teams, making lessons convenient and flexible.
Whether you are finding Spanish difficult or simply want to push towards a higher grade, I would be delighted to help you improve your confidence and ability in the language.
