About Will
I have a BA in history and have some experience in tutoring various Liberal Art subjects over the last few years. This is mainly with high school students in a 1-on-1 capacity, but have also worked with middle school and college students. Besides being well organized and quite knowledgeable, I also am fairly passionate about history and other subjects. It matters to me that the next generation not only understands but appreciates these subjects, and while I understand that it might not be everyone's favorite subjects, I hope to portray their importance.

I have a BA in History focusing on Ancient Civilizations (Rome, Greece, etc). While that was my focus, I am extremely proficient in most eras and regions of history. Although history was my major I am also very comfortable tutoring in other Liberal Art subjects, specifically Political Science and Civics, all of which I have tutored in before, mostly at the high school level.
I am capable of tutoring middle school to high school and even entry to immediate college level ( ie 100s-200s level), and can assist in most aspects of one's specific class. That includes but is not limited to: general comprehension, paper writing, group projects, test taking, among other aspects, while also hoping the student gains a new perspective and possibly even passion for the subject matter. Besides basic instruction, I attempt to lean on discussion (especially in group sessions), but am flexible on methods depending on the student's needs and desires.
I am available for 1-on-1 or small group sessions in person in the Birmingham, Alabama area, or virtually across the country at your convenience. My price ranges from $40-$50 per hour depending on subject matter.
