About Damien

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for agencies including World Class Teachers, Metropolitan Tutors and Holland Park Tutors... Working at Schools throughout London, I spent a number of years at Old Ford Primary in Tower Hamlets working on a 1-1 basis with children of Primary age with additional needs. I also worked at St. Stephen's Primary (COE) in St. Margaret's for around 5 years supporting a range of pupils from year 3 upwards, with Autism, ADHD and various other needs. Working with the Senco to deliver care in conjunction with various visiting specialists. I have tutored English and History up to GCSE level including IGCSEs. My degree is in Modern and Contemporary History. 2:1.

About the lesson

I have a tailored approach and plan dynamic lessons to suit each individual student. Lessons range from one to two hours and I use a range of mediums to ensure that students are kept engaged and stimulated. I have vast experience working with Autism and ADHD and pride myself on being sensitive to the needs of the individual student. I have worked with students successfully at 13+ GCSE and A Level in English in History... For parents - I am very happy to have a free phone consultation before a first session.
