Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Nic and I'm from South England. I am enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about helping others through teaching English. I find it very rewarding when my students develop their English skills and have fun during the learning process. In my spare time I love to travel to other countries, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.

I have a CELTA from Cambridge, qualified to teach English as a foreign language. I have taught over 80 hours of English to B1/ B2 level students aged 12-17 over the summer. I have six hours of teaching adults at a language centre in London. I currently tutor students of all ages, tailoring to their learning needs.
I love tailoring learning to my students by building a strong rapport with them. Individuality is key. I believe this makes my lessons personalised, enjoyable and engaging.
Speaking through a range of communicative tasks is central to my teaching philosophy. Incorporating target language and communicating in real life contexts is key in building confidence. I will help you gain a great level of fluency. Incorporating videos, music and other media will also feature in my lessons to improve your receptive skills.
