About Mia
As you know, my name’s Mia. Sometimes, I like to play flute or play netball for my college at uni. I really enjoy travelling - my main financial reason for tutoring is to raise money to go more places! Besides that, I want to teach because I believe that it is a good way for me to help others and do things that I am good at. I’ve received tutoring help before and it was of great benefit to me. Although I don’t see teaching as a viable career for me long-term, having the opportunity to tutor one on one is much appreciated. I sort of prefer interacting with young people as opposed to working in a café or a retail shop because it feels more meaningful. I enjoy learning and I’ve been told I have a very joyous and bubbly personality which shows when I’m doing something I’m passionate about.

At a very competitive rate, I will give my students a fun, yet simple insight into the subjects they choose to study with me. As somebody in the process of getting an ADHD assessment, I understand how stressful it can feel when you’re struggling to concentrate and in need of support. I’ve tutored before, and what seems to be most common to me is that overburdened teachers struggle to teach the entirety of their curriculum - leaving students with gaps in their knowledge or a lack of revision preparation done in classrooms. I will host Cambridge-style revision supervisions with anyone who needs help!
