About Olga
I am a History and Politics graduate from the University of Glasgow with six years of experience teaching History at GCSE and A Level in London. As a former Head of Sixth Form, I have extensive experience supporting students with UCAS applications, apprenticeships, personal statements, CV writing and interview preparation.
I am passionate about helping students develop their confidence, improve their academic skills and achieve their full potential. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, adapting my support to meet their individual needs. I aim to make History engaging and accessible while helping students strengthen their subject knowledge, essay-writing, source-analysis and examination skills.
My experience in sixth-form leadership has also given me a strong understanding of the university and apprenticeship application process. I provide practical, honest and personalised guidance to help students present their strengths clearly and approach the next stage of their education or career with confidence.

- My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style and goals. I use clear explanations, structured essay planning, source analysis, active recall and exam-style questions to build knowledge, confidence and strong examination technique. Students receive detailed, constructive feedback and practical strategies to help them improve their grades.
- Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for intensive revision, application support or interview preparation.
