About Charlotte
I am a History undergraduate student at the University of York. I have given private tutoring lessons at Cramlington Learning Village since 2018. I have achieved A*s at A level in History, English Literature, Theatre Studies and Extended Project Qualification and, as a result, I have worked on history projects with my academic supervisors as well as hosted panels and written for the York Historian with my most recent article being used by teachers to help teach their students. I am well versed in what is required for History and English essays and reviewed 100% in both of these A Levels.

My lessons are very personalised and fun, merging what interests students while prioritising what they are most needing to improve upon. I find it is most effective to be encouraging and let the student lead their learning while I help them to understand what they want to learn. Recall and practical application form the main foundations of my learning strategy along with exam technique and how to effectively write essays.

Perfect! Charlotte is a great History tutor. She is helping my daughter prepare for her GCSE's. Charlotte is very professional and her lessons are well structured, contents agreed in advance and valuable feedback on homework provided timely. She keeps me updated on progress, I could not ask for more!
Perfect! Charlotte is extremely flexible and adaptable to her student’s needs.
