About Amirah
Hi, my name is Amirah and I finished my GCSEs last year. I once was like many of you and struggled with learning in school, more often than not having to teach myself lessons upon lessons of content. However, this experience has allowed me to open my mind to different ways of learning and how to maximise our potential. I believe there is potential for everyone to get the best possible grades with the right methods and techniques, and so I am confident that together we can unlock your true capabilities.

Students will be started off with a 5 to 10 minute starter which recalls information learned from previous lessons. The main lesson will consist of delivering the lesson at a pace catered to each student. To apply the knowledge, students will be given tasks to solidify their newly learned information. Active recall and memory-focused activities will be used to optimise recall. Typically, the length of a lesson can span between 1 hour to 1 hr 30 but these are flexible. I have tutored other students before so I have experience in how students learn best. Lessons can be given to GCSE students studying either triple or combined science.
