Highly Qualified Teacher and Essay Coach for AP History and AP English

I hired Desiree to help my son with AP US History and in just a few sessions & essay reviews, 1) his grade in the course at school has improved dramatically with heaps of praise from his teacher over his improved writing and analysis skills and 2) his practice test scores for multiple choice are also up DRAMATICALLY. He was generally scoring around 23 or 25 out of 55 and now he is getting 40-45 out of 55 correct on every practice exam, getting better every time. Desiree knows her stuff. She is so well informed and she takes the time to teach the info to her student in away that will make sense to him as his individual self. My son feels comfortable with her and he feels like he can ask questions and he has fun learning from her. He looks forward to the sessions because he likes talking to her and always learns from her. He hated history and now he is interested and even likes the class at school. He enjoys the success he is experiencing. My son and I Could not recommend this tutor more enthusiastically. She is a talented educator and someone we will be keeping around for a long time. What a find!
