About Denise

I have taken study groups to Spain and Mexico and successfully trained AP students.
I studied at Berkeley, Stanford, Instituto Cultural Tenochtitlan, University for Foreigners in Perugia, and graduated with credendentials from San Francisco State University. I just got back from Spain and continue
to love, live, and learn about the
latin culture. I have a passion about education and wish to continue helping students achieve
their goals.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on
positive reinforcement and encouragement. I try to reach all the varied types of learning styles specific to each individual. I never
correct while the student is speaking, but rather point out some errors when the student
is finished speaking. I give notes and examples and do substitution
exercises. I incorporate games into my teaching and promote a fun and relevant atmosphere.
My methodology is basically to
make language learning fun and easy while succeeding in language
acquisition.
